It is a national competition organized by the Wine Lovers Club (CAV), which conducts a blind tasting and evaluates and distinguishes the wines submitted each year, awarding a score that places the wines among the best in Chile.

Guía Alistair Cooper
Alistair Cooper is a wine consultant, writer, and educator who became a Master of Wine in 2017. He has served as a judge in several international wine competitions, including Catad'Or, where he has been the Chair of the Jury since 2018.
Cooper is a regular contributor to Decanter Magazine and has been published in various international wine media. He has been a wine expert on BBC Radio. He lived and worked in Chile and Argentina for many years before returning to the UK in 2006.
