About Us
Vino del Desierto is composed of academics from the Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources of the Universidad Arturo Prat (UNAP) in Iquique, with 25 years of experience in desert agriculture. The team includes Agricultural Engineers, a graduate from the Agronomy Program at UNAP, a journalist, and a group of agricultural workers from the locality of La Huayca, who carry out the farming and winemaking processes of Vino del Desierto at the Canchones Experimental Station.
